Para mantener la seguridad en nuestro Smartphone es imprescindible descargar las aplicaciones únicamente desde fuentes fiables. No obstante, la tienda oficial a veces no es tan fiable como nos pensamos y las más de 100 aplicaciones infectadas que se han detectado son una buena muestra de ello.

Tal y como explican en Redeszone, se trata de un adware llamado “Android.Spy.277”, presente en todas y cada una de esas Apps, que tiene como fin mostrar publicidad no deseada de forma insistente, así como el secuestro de la actividad de cada usuario y de los datos que éstos guardan en la memoria de su Smartphone.

Los expertos explican que los datos recopilados tienen que ver con el IMEI del móvil, el usuario de correo electrónico, la versión de Android, la versión de Android, la ubicación por GPS, el número de teléfono o la disponibilidad de root, entre otros.
